Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail sales team on a permanent full-time basis. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.
* Manage store operational duties, including banking, budgeting, and staff rosters.
* Achieve sales targets by training, motivating, and mentoring staff, while providing regular feedback.
* Action hiring, promotions, and disciplinary procedures as needed.
* Ensure thorough induction and training for new staff members.
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and optimal store presentation.
* Manage trade accounts, stocktaking, and stock control for the store.
* Receive and distribute shipments efficiently.
* Keep the showroom and warehouse clean and safe at all times.
* Report and manage sales performance.
* Implement and adhere to company WH&S standards and policies.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Desirable: management experience in the retail sector, preferably with plumbing or interior sales expertise.
* Experience managing and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS applications.
* Able to build effective working relationships.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
