About the role
We are seeking experienced Test Analysts and Migration Test Analysts to join our team and support the successful delivery of a biometric onboarding solution for our client. This role will see you working closely with the client, vendor, and technical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes through robust testing practices.
Responsibilities
Test Analyst: Define and execute test strategy and plans across SIT, integration, E2E, and UAT support with clear criteria. Design and run test scenarios, data validations, and exception handling. Support the defect lifecycle (log, triage, prioritise, retest, close). Support go-live and conduct post-release checks to ensure timely issue identification and resolution.
Migration Test Analyst: Support preparation of migration test strategy and plans. Support design and execution of test cases for product/account changes, card issuance/activation, and customer journeys; manage test data. Support defect lifecycle (triage, prioritisation, retest, closure) with workstream owners; maintain clear reporting. Execute cutover validation checklists and post-migration verification.
Location
You must be on-site with the client in Newcastle 2 days per week. Preference will be given to candidates located in Newcastle, the Central Coast, or the Hunter region. Candidates based in Sydney must be willing to commute to Newcastle 2 days per week.
