The Opportunity

Join a nationally recognised ASX-listed financial services provider as Senior Legal Counsel, working directly with the Counsel and senior leaders. You'll be involved in complex, strategic legal matters that truly impact the direction of the business, while enjoying structured working hours and a collaborative culture that respects work-life balance.

On Offer
* Provide commercial, strategic legal advice across areas including M&A, financial services regulation, corporate governance, credit, disputes, and marketing;
* Be a trusted legal advisor on strategic business projects and enterprise-wide initiatives;
* Work closely with Regulators;
* Review and negotiate a wide range of commercial documentation — including loan and lease agreements, security documents, and introducer arrangements;
* Contribute to product development, training, and ongoing compliance and legal risk management;
* Work in a legal team that's respected across the business and led by a Counsel who values autonomy, collaboration, and growth.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* A minimum of 8 years' PAE, ideally in corporate law, banking and finance, or financial services regulation;
* Experience working closely with internal stakeholders and senior executives;
This is a role for a confident, senior-level legal professional ready to take ownership of complex legal matters within a high-performing ASX-listed business.
