Our client is a market leader that produces and imports a wide range of food products that cater to both retailer and food service channels. We are currently seeking a **Food Production Supervisor** to oversee the production team and ensure the smooth operation of the food manufacturing processes.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Daily management of your area and team members including:
- Leading by example in following all company procedures, using safe work practices, and setting High safety standards (HACCP controls and GMP)
- Performance management of employees
- Facilitate and support team members on return-to-work plans
- Show robust people management skills and openly communicate with team members and management.
- Managing daily and weekly rostering for your team
- Conduct scheduled toolbox meetings
- Ensuring staff training is managed and up-to-date
**Skills Requirement**:
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food manufacturing
- Attention to Details
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Technical Competence (Familiarity with production equipment)
- Need to be able to troubleshoot any issues that occur
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shifts: 6am-2pm
