Job Description
The role of the System Support Specialist - SAP HR/Payroll Team Lead is to provide specialist technical capability for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting SAP HR and Payroll systems.
This role will also play an integral part in supporting the SAP application footprint and promoting production change across businesses.
The team lead element of this role extends across SAP HR & Payroll components and cross-functional SAP support resources.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing technical expertise and advice within the SAP HR Payroll application, including integrated component architecture and design.
* Developing a thorough understanding of the business' operational and functional needs to recommend process and solution improvement opportunities.
* Designing and delivering functionality that meets business needs, ensuring integrated operability across relevant modules and adherence to best practice IT principles.
* Assessing, documenting and communicating change implications.
* Coordinating and assisting with general project tasks, including provision of key user assistance to complete training, documentation, process review and design.
* Coordinating and contributing to the development, documentation and execution of functional unit and integrated test scenarios.
* Day-to-day system support within specialist and associated functional components of SAP.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* 10+ years of technical subject matter experience in a support and project delivery capacity.
* Ability to understand customer needs and communicate effectively.
* Adherence to and enforcement of IT standards and industry best practices.
* Advanced experience with design, implementation, maintenance and support of SAP Payroll HR.
* Experience in SAP SuccessFactors and SAP FICO modules highly regarded.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
