Housing Receptionist (3 days, 15 hours per week)

St Patrick's Community Support Centre – Fremantle WA

St Patrick's Community Support Centre is a leading provider of homelessness and housing services in Western Australia. We are committed to supporting people to access safe, stable housing and to live with dignity, respect and independence.

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist to join our Housing Services team.

As the first point of contact, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and respectful environment for clients, visitors and stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

The role is part time (3 days, 15 hours per week) and fixed term until 30 June 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a busy switchboard, including answering and directing calls and taking accurate messages
* Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to all clients and visitors
* Deliver high quality administrative support, including data entry and document management
* Process incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and correspondence
* Maintain office supplies and support general office coordination tasks
* Ensure the reception area is presentable, safe and welcoming at all times
* Support service delivery aligned with homelessness and Housing First principles

About You

You are someone who:

* Has experience in a reception or administration role
* Has strong organisation and time management skills
* Is confident using Microsoft Office and databases
* Communicates clearly and professionally (written and verbal)
* Can stay calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced or challenging environment
* Takes a proactive and flexible approach to your work
* Has a genuine passion for helping people
* Experience in community services and/or housing/property
