It includes the Operational Deployment Force and facilities to undertake mission rehearsal exercises prior to deployment. The facility provides primary medical, underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care to approximately 8000 members. It also operates a 24/7 inpatient low dependency ward. As the ideal applicant, you will have: Impeccable personal integrity and ethical conduct. A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with AHPRA. Credentialing with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN), or a minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, or relevant international equivalent. Minimum of 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate experience in mental health, encompassing comprehensive assessments and delivery of evidence based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as per the Medicare Schedule. A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Familiarity with relevant State/Territory policies, national standards, and the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-2023 (preferred). Recent engagement in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities, with a minimum of 10 hours directly related to mental health, aligned with AHPRA guidelines.
