Due to recent expansion, we have an opportunity for a Purchasing Officer in our Brandt Head Office in Ballarat.
Brandt is looking for a supply chain management professional to play a key role in our Purchasing group. Reporting to the VP of Finance and as part of the Brandt global procurement team the Purchasing Officer will oversee MRO procurement in both Australia and New Zealand. The Purchasing Officer is tasked with ensuring that Brandt achieves best value in terms of price, quality, reliability and delivery in all transactions through effective management of the supplier relationship.
**_About the role:_**
**_About you:_**
- 5 or more years of MRO procurement.
- Expertise in the strategic purchasing of various commodities related to maintenance, repair and operations.
- Experience with RFPs, purchase and service contracts, including those in the construction industry.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Extensive experience in ERP systems, and working knowledge of MS Office software, esp. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
