The Opportunity

We are seeking a Workshop Facilitator to provide administrative support in the design and implementation of engagement and dialogue workshops to the newly‐formed Korean Literature Translation Hub based at ANU's Korea Institute. In this role, you will ensure the efficient and effective day‐to‐day operations of the Hub, contribute to the development and implementation of procedures and protocols relating to the Hub and its activities, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification, experience in the higher education sector and/or an interest in the Asia Pacific region. You will have demonstrated experience in a broad range of administrative functions, including event coordination and communications support. You will have intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Korean language and a passion for Korean literature. Your strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and on your own initiative will contribute to success in this role.

The School

The School of Culture, History and Language is the focus of research and teaching in Asian and Pacific humanities, social sciences and languages and seeks to build excellence in understanding and capability in engaging with the Asia and Pacific region. The key disciplines that are represented in the School are anthropology, archaeology, cultural studies, gender studies, history, linguistics, and languages, all contributing to the foundational knowledge of Asia and the Pacific. The ANU Korea Institute supports research, teaching and engagement in the fields of Korean Studies and Korean language.
