This government department is seeking an Automation Tester to come on board. As a department they embrace the latest Cloud technology to deliver high quality citizen‑facing digital services using Salesforce Platform as a Service (PaaS). This would be an excellent role for a skilled automation Tester who is a competent programmer familiar with Tosca, API integration and Salesforce. Excellent communications skills, a keen eye for detail and a team player would be the right attributes.

* Must be based in Canberra | Hybrid - Office / WFH
* $90-120/hour | 12‑month contract + extensions
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be considered
Responsibilities
* Review software requirements
* Preparation of test cases
* Develop automation testing scripts
* Execution of tests
* Reporting of defects
* Preparation of test reports
Essential Skills
* Experience with test planning, execution, management, and reporting
* Familiarity with HTML and at least one programming language (C#, Java, JavaScript, Groovy)
* Experience in analysing requirements, developing, and designing test scripts
* Strong working experience with TOSCA and integration testing tools (e.g., SOAPUI, POSTMAN)
* Understanding and experience with Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies
* Hands‑on experience utilising tools like JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence for execution and testing
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable skills
* Salesforce application testing experience (e.g., knowledge of SOQL and Data Loader)
