 
        
        We are seeking an experienced Support Professional to join our team at Hamlyn Terrace. As a key member, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment that encourages professional and personal growth as well as further training and career development.
This role is ideal for someone who
 * Enjoys working in a rotating roster to suit their schedule (morning, afternoon and night shifts available)
 * Is passionate about providing support in the disability sector
 * Likes building strong work relationships with community, participants and their families
The Position
Location: Hamlyn Terrace, NSW (some travel required across multiple sites)
Employment: Casual
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate + super + penalty rates
Responsibilities
You will provide personal care including toileting, showering, dressing and feeding as required. You will also help participants explore their interests and hobbies through various programs and recreational activities. Additionally, you will transport participants to events and appointments and perform admin duties such as completing progress notes, charts and incidental reports.

Essential Criteria
 * Able to provide personal care and support activities of daily living in a residential setting
 * High level of resilience and emotional intelligence
 * Strong communication skills and ability to use alternative and augmentative communication methods
 * Have a personal mobile device that meets system requirements
 * Certificate 3 in Individual Support or related (desirable)
 * Current driver licence (minimum P2)
 * Satisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)
 * Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR (HLTAID011)
