About the role
We are partnering with a Defence client delivering complex acquisition and sustainment programs. We are seeking 3x experienced Procurement Managers (L2 & L3) to support high value procurement and contract management activities across major ICT capability programs in Canberra.
* 3x positions available - L2 & L3
* These are 12 month contract opportunities
* Canberra based
* Immediate and staggered start options available
* NV1 clearance is essential and higher clearances will be highly regarded.
Responsibilities
* Lead end to end procurement planning and sourcing activities for major ICT uplift
* Develop procurement strategies aligned to program objectives and risk profiles
* Prepare and review procurement documentation including ATM, RFT and contract documentation
* Manage evaluation processes and provide recommendations to delegates
* Lead or support contract negotiations and contract variations
* Manage supplier performance and commercial risk
* Provide commercial advice to project managers, engineering teams and senior stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with CPRs, PGPA Act and Defence procurement policies
* Contribute to governance, probity and audit requirements
About you
* Demonstrated experience within Defence or Federal Government procurement environment
* Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence commercial frameworks
* Experience managing medium to high value and complex procurements
* Ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong written capability with experience drafting procurement and contract documentation
* Current NV1 clearance minimum
* OPP experience highly desirable
