About The Role
The Administrative Assistant CoE provides professional administrative and student services support within the Centre of Excellence – Future of Housing Construction. The role is a key student-facing point of contact, delivering responsive customer service while ensuring institutional policies, procedures and confidentiality requirements are consistently applied.
Reporting to the Director Education CoE, this role suits someone who is highly organised, customer-focused and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
What You\'ll Do
* Act as the primary student-facing contact for the Centre of Excellence – Future of Housing Construction
* Provide accurate and timely advice on course offerings, pathways, enrolments, eligibility and progression
* Process student enrolments, variations, withdrawals and completions in line with compliance requirements
* Maintain accurate and confidential student records using student management systems
* Support administration of accredited programs, skill sets and microcredentials
* Manage day-to-day student service and administrative workflows
* Apply established procedures to resolve routine enrolment or service issues
* Liaise with teaching teams, internal departments and external stakeholders
* Support reporting, audits and continuous improvement activities
* Maintain current knowledge of Centre programs and relevant training pathways
Essential
What You\'ll Bring
* Relevant qualification and/or equivalent substantial experience in education administration, student services or a related field
* Experience working in a TAFE, VET or education environment with knowledge of student lifecycle and enrolment processes
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under general direction
* Well-developed interpersonal, communication and written skills
* Ability to apply policies, procedures and compliance requirements accurately
* High level of discretion and commitment to confidentiality
Desirable
* Experience supporting vocational education, microcredentials or industry-aligned training programs
* Familiarity with regulated education environments and quality frameworks
