The Shire of Narrogin seeks a skilled Ranger to protect our community, environment, and local amenity. This role offers a mix of fieldwork, community engagement, and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enforce local laws and regulations
* Educate the public on safety and environmental issues
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents and animals
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate in Local Government Law Enforcement (or working towards)
* A Current Senior First Aid Certificate
* Previous experience in a Ranger or similar regulatory role
* Demonstrated experience in animal handling and bushfire control
* Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and record-keeping systems
* Experience in minor building maintenance works
