Panel of Providers - Request for Offer Number PAN000013
Provision of services under this Panel may include delivery of ecological restoration, vegetation management and burn preparation works on public and private lands within Tweed Shire, preparation of restoration planning documents and delivery of extension services in the restoration services area.
For the duration of this Contract, Council may engage Contractors from the Panel of Providers under a range of programs or as part of Council’s operational requirements, including:
* Council funded environmental grant programs - Biodiversity Grants, River Health Grants, Sustainable Agriculture Grants and works funded under the Tweed Coast Koala Plan of Management.
* Externally funded projects – State and Federal Government grant programs and other programs.
* Weed control associated with Council’s built and environmental assets.
* Restoration services associated with Council’s bushland estate.
* Restoration services associated with development and maintenance of Council infrastructure.
* Bushfire hazard reduction activities such as Asset Protection Zone maintenance, hazard reduction burn preparation, and other associated vegetation management activities.
When evaluating Offers submitted under this Request for Offer, Council will ensure the assessment panel fits its broad range of needs in the restoration services area, with respect to Contractor size, capabilities and capacity.
