Grampians Rural Health Alliance (GRHA).
The Grampians Rural Health Alliance (GRHA) provides ICT shared services to Grampians Health and seven (7) other member health services and four (4) Bush Nursing Centres across the Grampians Region. As a shared service provider, GRHA is legally a part of Grampians Health with oversight of GRHA provided by a number of committees, including the GRHA Executive Committee. GRHA provides a range of services including ICT investment facilitation, project delivery, workplace services, business application services, collaboration services and vendor management & procurement.
About the role
This is an exciting new position in the Digital Health Team supporting and increasing our digital maturity across the Grampians Region to support clinical care.
The Project Manager Applications will be employed by the Grampians Rural Health ICT Alliance to oversee a program of work to enhance use of existing digital health applications, with a view to uplifting digital health capabilities and improve Electronic Medical Record readiness within the workforce.
The Project Manager – Applications is responsible for working closely with the Director Digital Health Applications and other key managers as required, to identify, define, scope and implement work that will enhancement use of current application capability, building on the existing investment in digital health. Additionally, the role will be responsible for coordinating project resources to deliver the project planning, manage client relationships, engage and consult with staff and vendors and complete project reporting
To be successful in this role, you will be a high performing team member with strong analytical, problem solving, project management and communication skills. You may offer specialist skills in either health system data, stakeholder consultation or program implementation. The role will engage with a range of stakeholders across health services and the Department of Health. You will work closely with the stakeholders to identify problems, analyse qualitative and quantitative inputs, and develop options and creative, implementable solutions to enable the pilot to achieve its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee the full life cycle of project work streams
2. Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive project reports.
3. Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
4. Develop and implement necessary change management strategies required to support health services with effective data collection and submission.
5. Support and report to Project Control Group/s which will be established
Key Requirements
6. A tertiary qualification in fields related to health information management, health administration or project management would be highly desirable.
7. Current knowledge in clinical information systems, health information systems would be highly desirable
8. A full driver's licence is required due to the need to attend health services across the Grampians region as required.
