Job Title: Legal and Governance Officer
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, as well as to the in-house legal team. This role requires a highly organised and motivated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with a variety of legal and administrative duties, contributing to the smooth operation of our legal and governance department
* Manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritise work effectively
* Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements:
* Working towards tertiary qualifications in business, management, policy, administration, secretarial, legal administration, project or program management, or relevant experience
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to deal with sensitive information and exercise a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
* Strong stakeholder management skills with proven ability to successfully communicate (written and oral) at a high level, form positive working relationships, adapt to audience, problem solving and proven ability to manage conflicts
* Organisational awareness and understanding of the complexity of the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services sector
