We are seeking a talented Painter and Decorator to join our team at Sharp Line Paint Professionals' in Mount Warren Park, Queensland. As a casual position, this is the perfect opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional who is looking for flexible work arrangements. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients transform their homes and businesses with high-quality painting and decorating services.
What you'll be doing
* Mainly new builds and repaints.
* Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required
* Applying various types of paints, varnishes, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces
* Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment at all times
* Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
What we're looking for
* Minimum 1 years' experience as a qualified Painter and Decorator
* Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and the team
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
* A passion for the trades and a commitment to ongoing professional development
* Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent trade qualification
* Current White Card (Construction Induction Safety Certificate) and Working at Heights certification
