We are looking for APS5 Case Manager to work with our client in Federal government space We are seeking an experienced APS5 Case Manager to join a Federal Government program focused on strengthening Australia's health workforce and improving access to medical services across regional, rural and remote communities.

Role Details
* Location: Canberra
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract: Until 30 June 2026, with possible extension up to 30 June 2027
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
* Working Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 1 day per week in the office)
* Rate: $60–$65 per hour + superannuation (11.5%, increasing to 12% from 23 June 2025)
* Eligibility: Australian Citizenship required
* Checks: Police check required
About the Role: In this role, you will support the administration and delivery of a key Federal Government program that ensures medical professionals are distributed to areas of greatest need across Australia. You will case manage program participants, apply legislation and policy, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely and accurate outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Case manage program participants in line with legislative and policy frameworks
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on policy, program and operational matters
* Apply sound judgement to make recommendations and decisions within established guidelines
* Prepare briefs, correspondence, reports and other documentation
* Contribute to workflow planning, prioritisation and continuous improvement
* Support broader program administration activities as required
About You: You will bring strong case management or program delivery experience and thrive in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment.
Key capabilities include:
* Experience in program implementation or case management
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement ability
* Ability to apply policy, legislation and best-practice principles to decision-making
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Ability to work independently while contributing to team outcomes
* A broad understanding of the Australian health system (highly regarded)
