We're seeking an experienced WHS Operations Manager to support, implement and continuously improve workplace health and safety systems across our farming, feedmill, New Zealand and PIC operations.
Reporting to the Group WHS Manager, this role ensures compliance with Australian and New Zealand WHS legislation while embedding practical, risk-based safety culture across the business. You will work closely with operational leaders to proactively manage risks associated with agricultural activities, plant and equipment, livestock handling, chemicals, and contractor management, while supporting the rollout of WHS initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive safety culture.

Key responsibilities:
* Provide strategic and practical WHS leadership across all operations
* Drive consistency and the continuous improvement of WHS systems and processes
* Partner with leaders to proactively manage risk and build WHS capability
* Oversee serious incident investigations and corrective action processes
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, standards and governance frameworks
* Analyse safety data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
About You
You're an experienced WHS professional who can balance legislative compliance with practical, on‐the‐ground leadership. You're confident operating in diverse, multi‐site operations and have the credibility to influence leaders, coach teams, and drive meaningful safety outcomes.
You will bring:
* Minimum Diploma in Work Health and Safety with formal lead investigator training
* 5+ years' WHS experience across agricultural, processing, or manufacturing sites
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, standards, and regulatory processes
* Proven experience managing WHS across multi‐site operations
* Confident leader with strong influencing and coaching capabilities
* High level of computer literacy and a current open Class C drivers' licence
