Ambulance Transport Attendant Role Overview
As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, dignified, and patient-focused care to non-emergency pre- and post-hospital patients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough patient assessments and intervene appropriately during on-road transport
* Provide exceptional patient care and treatment while prioritizing safety
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
* Work independently and make informed decisions within established policies and procedures
* Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve outstanding outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Diploma of Paramedical Science (Ambulance), Bachelor of Health Science (Paramedic), or Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration) recognized by RFDS or DHHS
* Availability to work varied shifts across 7 days
* Ability to drive safely in both city and country traffic conditions
* High level of compassion, professionalism, and dedication to providing excellent service
* Satisfactory completion of rigorous screening including current Full Drivers Licence, State driver history report, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia
