Our multi national client is looking to recruit a local HR officer to work within this chemical manufacturing and distribution company.
This is a full-time casual position, ongoing 38 hour week, Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant can choose to be based in the administrative office at Chadstone or the manufacturing facility at Lara with the expectation they will visit the other site on a regular basis (at least once per fortnight).
You will require a minimum 5 years' experience in a similar autonomous, all-encompassing people and culture role, tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential.
In this frontline position you will be responsible for
Employee relations / employee engagement
Support recruitment processes and onboarding initiatives working together with Talent Acquisition and HR Services HUB
Compliance and reporting
Coordinate/manage budgets, liaising with global HR
EBA Negotiation
Workcover management
Strategic Initiatives
Prepare and deliver HR presentations for Country Updates
Support organisational change initiatives as required
Compensation and Benefit management
Manage administration of employee benefits
The Successful Applicant will have:
Proven experience in HR management and employee relations
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
Experience with HR information systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
Previous experience in payroll processing
Whilst business specific training will be provided our client is looking for a person who can hit the ground running, this is not a graduate role.
