We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic full-time Legal Assistant with ideally two years' experience to become part of our successful property team. This is a pivotal role within a friendly and highly regarded team, in which you will be supporting several busy lawyers to deliver excellent results for our clients. To make a great fit for this team you will be organised, enthusiastic, and take initiative. You will also enjoy working collaboratively with others in a busy corporate environment and take pride in providing top level support to your authors.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Administrative support to a partner and multiple fee earners
* Providing timely and accurate clerical and administrative support to authors involving:
* File management including opening and closing files and ongoing management of electronic files
* General account and monthly billing processes
* Diary management, coordination of meetings and travel and client correspondence
* Ensuring all legal time deadlines and client-time related service standards are achieved
* Prioritising work received from assigned authors to ensure the best outcome for the authors and clients
* Liaise with internal and external clients via telephone and email
* 1 - 3 years property administration experience
* Strong attention to detail, and skills in prioritisation and time management
* Confidence, flexibility and ability to take a proactive approach to work,
* A team player mindset, and desire to work collaboratively with the existing team
* Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work
