We seek a Senior Level Finance Manager to join our team in our Head office in Rozelle. You will effectively contribute to the overall success of the Navarra Venues, through daily financial management, strategic leadership and decision making. Strive to implement Company strategies, targets, and objectives efficiently and proactively. PRINCIPAL DUTIES Oversee, manage, and monitor compliance with the Company’s regulatory and financial risks and requirements. Proactively understand and mitigate financial risk for the Company and report risk issues to the Directors. Oversee the management, review, and coordination of all financial reporting for the Company. Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions. Monitor data input, manage, and report on financial matters, including but not limited to income tax, GST, land tax, payroll tax, insurances, utilities, Workers Compensation, FBT, Company Tax, and Payroll. Review bank and investment account reconciliations and cash flow management. Produce accurate and timely monthly and margin reports which allow the Senior Management team to make informed decisions regarding the financial position of the Company. Analyse Cost Centre reports to fully understand under/over recovery position, impact on labour rates and productivity of the workforce. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate any of their findings and/or recommendations. Develop and build strategic alliances and networks with key suppliers, industry bodies, and relevant government agencies. QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in accounting, Commerce or Business Administration from an accredited College or University, or equivalent. Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant, or equivalent. APTITUDE & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS Strong leadership and people management skills. Able to work well both within a team environment and autonomously.
