Bupa Medical is expanding in North Queensland, with an exciting new clinical service, an Urgent Care Clinic, launching in Mackay.
The clinic will be open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm.
We’re seeking experienced General Practitioners, including a Clinical Lead, to join our growing network and play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred primary and acute care within a modern clinical setting.
These opportunities are offered on a contractor basis, with competitive hourly rates and the flexibility and clinical autonomy GPs value.
General Practitioners
As a GP, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, managing a broad range of patient presentations and contributing to high standards of clinical care and patient experience.
About you
* Specialist registration with AHPRA
* Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM (or working towards)
* Strong clinical judgement and confidence managing diverse presentations
* A collaborative, patient-focused approach to care
Clinical Lead
This is a senior opportunity for a GP who is passionate about clinical excellence, governance and service development.
In addition to clinical care, the Clinical Lead will:
* Provide clinical leadership and support to the GP and nursing teams
* Contribute to clinical governance, protocols and continuous improvement
* Support the establishment and ongoing development of a new clinical service
* Act as a key clinical liaison within the broader Bupa Medical network
About you
* Specialist GP registration with AHPRA
* Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical settings
* Strong interest in quality, safety and service design
* A commitment to mentoring and supporting clinicians
