We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Plant, Fleet & Stores Coordinator. The successful candidate will ensure a high-quality service is delivered to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with internal customers and external suppliers to specify, evaluate, and provide plant and equipment for best value.
* Participate in the implementation of fleet transition plans to support Net Zero Emissions goals.
* Ensure Work Health & Safety responsibilities with respect to plant, fleet, and equipment purchases and disposal align with legislative requirements.
* Coordinate warehouse inventory system and functions including stocktaking to meet organisational requirements.
* Undertake and report on asset disposal valuations.
* Coordinate hire arrangements for externally owned fleet.
* Collect and analyse data and report on performance, fleet expenditure, internal/external patterns, and trends, and supplier delivery performance.
* Provide maintenance and repair advice to Workshop team and external service providers.
* Lead, engage, mentor, and develop the team to deliver operational works and achieve organisational outcomes.
Requirements
* Substantial experience in stores management, stock control, and whole-of-life financial assessment and analysis relevant to plant, fleet, and equipment.
* Preparing specifications for diverse plant, fleet, and equipment.
* Knowledge of IPWEA best practice plant and fleet management manuals.
* Sustainability and technology changes/advances in the plant, fleet, and equipment industry.
* Leading and working effectively in a team and independently.
* Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations.
* Fleet Management Certificate or willingness to obtain.
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
