About the Role

Curtin University is seeking an experienced Digital Partner - Products to shape and deliver impactful digital solutions across the University. Working within the Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) team, you will act as the product lead for a defined product stream — owning the product roadmap, understanding customer needs, and driving the delivery of digital products that support Curtin's strategic priorities.

This is a senior product role operating at the intersection of business and technology. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and technical teams to prioritise initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and ensure digital products deliver measurable outcomes. You will operate in a structured, delivery-focused environment, balancing agile ways of working with governance and compliance expectations of a large organisation. You will contribute to innovation across modern technology platforms, including AI-enabled solutions, to support the University's global research, teaching and student experience.

Key responsibilities
* Own and manage the product roadmap for your product stream, ensuring alignment with Curtin's strategic and technology priorities
* Understand customer needs and business goals to define and prioritise product initiatives
* Translate business requirements into epics, user stories and backlog items for agile delivery teams
* Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, showcases and product lifecycle activities
* Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to drive delivery outcomes, despite not having direct reports
* Manage dependencies across delivery teams and ensure alignment across initiatives
* Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives within your product portfolio
* Use customer insights, analytics and feedback to guide product decisions and measure outcomes
* Provide clear and proactive communication to stakeholders on progress, risks and delivery outcomes
* Act as the voice of the product, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders
About You

You are an experienced Product Manager who thrives in environments where collaboration, delivery and stakeholder engagement are key. You bring a strong ability to translate business needs into practical digital solutions and are comfortable leading cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes. You are decisive, organised and an excellent communicator who can confidently engage with both technical specialists and business leaders.

You enjoy working in a delivery-focused environment with a strong team culture, where innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged.

Selection Criteria
* Significant experience as a Product Manager within a complex digital or technology environment
* Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating delivery without direct reporting lines
* Strong experience developing product roadmaps, backlogs and user stories
* Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining delivery focus
* Experience working across customer needs, business objectives and technical strategy
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience working with senior leaders
* Strong analytical skills and experience using data, insights and metrics to guide product decisions

Desirable Experience:

* Exposure to modern software development environments or cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
* Experience in digital transformation or higher education environments
Role Requirements
* As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
* Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction
