Job Description
Main Roads Western Australia is responsible for safely managing the state's road network to connect people and places. We seek a self-motivated individual to join our team in the Goldfields-Esperance Region as a Network Operations Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Network Operations Manager to review the use of the road network, investigate and develop solutions to improve network efficiency and road safety.
* Conduct route assessments for proposed heavy vehicle routes to be considered for inclusion in the Restricted Access Vehicle (RAV) network.
* Coordinate the review of traffic management plans, traffic device plans, and provide advice on issues relating to safe and efficient road network operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong skills, knowledge and experience in traffic engineering or management with an emphasis on traffic design, control devices, and road safety.
* Ability to provide advice on road use, traffic management, and road safety matters with excellent customer focus.
