Job Overview
The Australian Federal Police is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Project Officer in their Cyber Command department.
This position will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and coordination of programs and projects that aim to combat cybercrime and protect Australia and Australians.
Cybercrime has been identified as a major threat to the country's security and economy, and the AFP is committed to staying ahead of this threat through the development and delivery of effective programs and projects.
As a Project Officer, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to develop and implement solutions to complex problems, and contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework and the AFP Code of Conduct.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, implementation, and coordination of programs and projects to combat cybercrime.
* Contribute to the development of reporting documentation and performance statistics.
* Provide administrative and secretariat duties for the Cybercrime Program Reference Group.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the AFP and external organizations.
* Undertake other duties as required and directed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A minimum 1 year experience in administration and/or project management.
* A proven ability to work collaboratively, with a team-oriented approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
* Well-developed administration and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
* The ability to take responsibility for complex, challenging, or sensitive projects.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in project management, business administration, or a related field.
* Experience and knowledge in project or program management, and/or procurements.
* Interest in cybersecurity or technology.
* Experience in the Australian Public Service sector.
