About The Role
Due to continued growth of the business, we are currently looking for a highly motivated Graduate Engineer to join our team based in Perth, WA. In this role, you will provide technical and administrative support to the business whilst building your knowledge of Contract Resources core services.
This position will require you to work closely with numerous internal and external stakeholders while managing site-based activities in Onshore & Offshore facilities.
This is a great opportunity for a recent Graduated Engineer to step into the Oil and Gas industry and get on site experience as well as working with our senior engineers and clients.
Requirements & Experience Needed
* Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent majoring in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering
* Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs and specifications
* Ability to complete manual work on site
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work within a team or independently with good initiative
* Willingness to complete specialised training courses such as breathing apparatus, confined space rescue, working at heights and helicopter escape for offshore work
* Previous vacation or internship work experience within oil and gas or resource sector (Highly desirable)
* Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with key stakeholders
* Current C Class Manual Drivers Licence
* Full rights to work in Australia
* Understanding of engineering concepts.
* Technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
* Ability to communicate technical knowledge effectively and clearly.
* Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
* Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Assist in the designing of systems and components that meet the business needs and requirements.
* Assist in Identifying, formulating, and producing effective solutions to emerging problems.
