Business Manager Role Overview
About the Role:
The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial, administrative and compliance functions for support services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management and Controls
o Approve invoices and credit card transactions in Basware according to delegated authority.
o Provide commentary on financial reports for financial oversight.
o Support Finance team with reporting and analysis.
o Manage and reconcile Cab Charge account ensuring correct allocation and reporting.
* Client Funding and Compliance
o Manage client admissions and discharges in PRODA ensuring Departmental compliance.
o Oversee DEX claiming processes for support services.
o Prepare billing information.
o Manage analysis and reporting of funding.
o Monitor progress and report on financial impacts of hardship applications.
o Interpret and implement aged care legislation and funding guidelines ensuring operational compliance.
* Reporting and Business Performance
o Prepare and present monthly reports on client numbers, movements and outputs.
o Monitor business performance indicators identifying trends and areas for improvement.
o Provide input into financial forecasting budgeting and strategic planning processes.
o Support internal and external audit processes implementing recommendations as required.
