In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote Mental Health Australia's key organisational and advocacy priorities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic communication plans to promote Mental Health Australia's key organisational and advocacy priorities
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and develop compelling content
* Design and deliver engaging multimedia content, including social media posts, press releases, and stakeholder updates
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, government officials, and industry partners
* Maintain accurate records of communication activities, including media coverage, website analytics, and social media engagement
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as communications, marketing, or public relations
* Proven experience in communications, preferably in a similar role
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
