About the role:
* Work closely with a Partner & Head of the Sydney Office, as well as a Special Counsel.
* Act in a broad range of insurance matters, including coverage advice, coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and defending litigated claims.
* Assist in drafting pleadings, affidavits, advices, negotiating settlements, and preparing for mediations and trials.
* Liaise with external counsel, clients, brokers, and experts.
The ideal candidate:
* Have at least 3–7 years of experience in insurance law.
* Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; capable of managing competing tasks.
* Excellent communication, client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
