About Us:
Final Form Regeneration (FFR) is a leading Bush Regeneration and environmental services company that is heavily involved within the government and commercial industries. We take great pride in delivering value and targeted solutions for our clients and looking after our people.
We are a small team of 10 employees, that provides specialised services including riparian area rehabilitation/revegetation, erosion control and maintenance, weed control and general environmental management.
FFR has been engaged to undertake integrated weed management on a number of high profile sites across the Upper Hunter. FFR is seeking Bush Regeneration Team leaders to join our projects under the direction of the General Manager and client site Managers. FFR also works closely with Tocal College and TAFE NSW to provide our staff with the best quality training.
Essential Skills:
* Ability to travel to and work in the Upper Hunter area (work Vehicle and phone included).
* Self-motivated, proactive, use initiative and good natured.
* Have a passion for practical environmental restoration and weed management with previous bush regeneration experience.
* Strong native and exotic plant identification skills, or willingness to proactively learn.
* Proven ability to lead a small team and work in remote bushland under various weather conditions and terrain in a bush regeneration role.
* Adequate level of physical fitness required for manual weed removal
* Ability to walk long distances and lift a 10kg load.
* Class C driver's license.
* AQF3 chemical application qualifications
* Ability to undertake and pass a pre- employment medical (drug test).
* Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management or environmental related discipline, (or) working towards related discipline.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in or willingness to learn IT platforms GIS Reporting.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Demonstrated experience in high-volume herbicide spraying units, back-pack sprayers strong plant id and knowledge of weed treatment methods.
* Current Coal Board Medical and Glencore Induction.
