Product Applications Engineer
Location: Melbourne or Sydney
Responsibilities:
The role of this position is primarily to develop, debug and put system solution to production. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Board level circuit design and implementation
* Firmware and host API development
* Develop characterization plan and implement evaluation/test system
* Work with vendors on putting design to product
* Debugging issues
* Customer support
* Maintain and Develop strong relationships with customers and actively identify and pursue new opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:
* MSEE in EE or related majors
* Experienced in
o Board level mixed signal circuit design
o Firmware development based on C/Cpp
o Evaluating circuit performance
* Solid problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
* Familiar with common instruments such as spectrum analyzer, signal source and oscilloscope
* Inquisitiveness and curiosity to learn, creative thinking and problem solving
* Self-motivated, team player and good communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure with strong results-driven mindset
Experiences in below are considered a plus
* Simulation/algorithm development tools (matlab, R, …)
* High level languages (python, javascript)
* Willingness to travel on short notice
