The Role
We?re seeking Boilermaker apprentices of all experience levels to join our growing team based at our Hemmant workshop. This position will initially commence as a Trade Assistant role, to assess Cultural fit, with an intention to lead into an apprenticeship. ENAP take great pride in their apprenticeship program and are looking for passionate people to further their trade career. This is a great full-time opportunity for motivated individuals ready to take on a 4-year trade apprenticeship and build skills for life. ENAP employ 20+ apprentices across all disciplines of our business (Carpenters, Fitters & Turners, Boilermakers and Sheetmetal)

As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will:
* Learn to fabricate and assemble metal components by measuring, cutting, shaping and joining steel and other metals using hand and power tools
* Carry out welding and thermal cutting (e.g MIG, TIG, stick welding, oxy and plasma cutting) under supervision and to workplace standards
* Read and interpret drawings and plans to produce parts and structures accurately
* Install, maintain and repair metal structures such as frames, tanks, pipes and equipment
* Follow strict safety procedures and use PPE correctly to prevent injuries and hazards
* Maintain tools and equipment and keep work areas clean and organised
* Work as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and tradespeople
* Attend TAFE to complete the theory components of your apprenticeship
* Develop time management and job-planning skills to meet deadlines and quality standards
What you require to be eligible for the role:
* Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
* Proactively seek opportunities to develop trade skills and knowledge.
* Actively participate in the business by contributing to improvement initiatives.
* Be an enthusiastic team player.
* Have a strong commitment to safety.
* Prior exposure to mechanical or engineering environments (through school or work experience) is highly regarded.
