Job Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring rooms are accurately rated and the room rack is properly adjusted at all times.
* Checking out vacant and clean rooms and updating room statuses.
* Running alert date reports and reviewing out-of-order and off-market rooms daily.
* Responding to incoming phone calls and guest requests, and offering assistance upon departure.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
1. Accurately rating rooms and ensuring the room rack is properly adjusted.
2. Reviewing and processing guest check-outs, including video check-out and bell assistance.
3. Providing exceptional guest service and responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
4. Working flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent education.
* Minimum front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
* Strong mathematical skills specific to position responsibilities.
Work Environment:
The work environment for this role includes:
* Standing and walking frequently.
* Using hands and arms to perform tasks.
* Talking and hearing regularly.
* Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds occasionally.
The Casino environment can be hectic, fast-paced, and crowded with noise. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
