Our client is a well-established, purpose-driven organisation operating in the sport and community sector. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support their finance function across accounts payable, payroll and general finance administration. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with both finance and non-finance stakeholders and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. What you’ll be doing: Coordinate fortnightly payroll via an external payroll provider, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Liaise with an external HR provider on payroll-related and general HR administration matters Manage weekly accounts payable runs, including invoice processing and supplier queries Perform general ledger reconciliations and support month-end processes Assist with banking activities, including adherence to policy and cashflow support Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders Produce regular reporting for NB1, the Board and Venues West Provide general finance and administrative support as required What you’ll need: Previous experience in accounts payable and payroll roles Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to deadlines Comfortable working with external service providers Confident communicator who can engage with a range of stakeholders Experience with financial systems and strong Excel skills Experience with Employment Hero and XERO preferred What’s in it for you: Work-from-home flexibility Supportive and collaborative team environment Great coffee Convenient location Opportunity to contribute to a values-driven organisation with strong community impact How to apply: To complete your application for this position please click on the "APPLY" button.
