About The Role
Temporary full-time position until 30 June 2029. The Midwifery Group Practice Outreach Clinical Midwife (CM) provides comprehensive, evidence-based midwifery care to predominantly First Nations women and their families, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care in a continuity model.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration as a Registered Midwife.
Postgraduate qualification or enrollment in a relevant postgraduate program (highly desirable).
Participation in an on-call roster.
Travel to Mornington Island, Doomadgee, and possibly other facilities within the service.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening, including Criminal History checks.
Evidence of vaccination or immunity to specific diseases may be required.
Probation period may apply.
