**Job Summary**:
This job in factories also leads the activities related to environment to ensure the internal and external compliance to environamenal related policies and regulations, provides leadership in all the areas of safety, health and environment
**What you will do**:
The Environment part of the job applies to PackMat and AddMat factories.
1. Champion OHS and Environment within their business
2. Provide OHS and Environment advice and guidance to their site director/MD/Factory Director
3. Establish and maintain systems to support the Group OHS /Workplace policy/procedures and local legislation
4. Maintain a record of OHS /Environment incindets and monitor completion of follow up actions
5. Monitor compliance with agreed site OHS/Environmnet policies and procedures
6. Ensure that an OHS/Environment training plan is in place to cover the significant risks on the site
7.Ensure timely delivery of correct data to agreed internal and external social and environmental reporting platforms (i.e. SoFi, Sedex questionnaires)
8. Ensure thried party audits are planned and executed according to group requirements in teh areas of Safety, Health and Environment and legal compliancee, (i.e. Sedex, ISO 14001)
9.Prohibit any activity from continuing that is considered a danger or a significant breach of OHS / Environment legislation
**We believe you have**:
- 3+ years of working experience Level 3 Ideally 24 months experience of a similar OHS role Level 4 Ideally 4 years experience of a similar OHS role or a role at a small factory
- For factories:
- At least 4 years of proven experience in an SHE role in a manufacturing environment and 2 years in management role.- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) / NEBOSH certificate is preferable.
- Experience to implement regulatory standards on manufacturing area is preferable
- Experience to manage security aspects.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal health, safety & environmental regulations.
(-WCM/TPM knowledge related to EHS Pillar)- Demonstrated proficiency in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving.
