**Job Description**: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team as Assistant Village Manager at a peaceful coastal retirement village. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, implementing operational plans and projects, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and maintaining residents' satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities:
* Supporting the Senior Village Manager in managing the village's daily activities
* Implementing operational plans and projects to improve village services
* Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the village
* Maintaining residents' satisfaction by implementing company policies and strategies
* Assisting with the running of village events, social calendar, and activities
* Contributing to effective resident management to foster strong customer relationships
* Providing assistance with budget preparation and financial processing
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent computer literacy - including Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to balance different priorities and manage day-to-day expectations
* Willingness to learn and professionally develop, along with a proactive and can-do attitude
* Strong people management and problem-solving skills
* Experience with budgeting (desirable)
* Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate - or be willing to obtain
