HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST / ADVISOR

This is a hands-on HR generalist role where your work genuinely improves workplaces and supports people properly — not just policies and process.
You'll work directly with business owners and leaders across South Australia, helping them navigate HR, ER and compliance with clarity, practicality and confidence.
WLSS is a growing SA-based HR, WHS and compliance consultancy, supported by our own HR and compliance SaaS platform. This role plays a key part in supporting clients and helping us continually improve how HR is delivered through systems and technology.

What you'll be doing
* Providing practical HR and ER advice to business owners and managers
* Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, variations and HR documentation
* Supporting performance management, workplace issues and terminations
* Applying employment legislation, Modern Awards and EBAs in real-world settings
* Conducting HR and payroll compliance reviews
* Building and improving HR systems that are fit-for-purpose
* Contributing HR insight to the ongoing improvement of our HR & compliance SaaS platform
What we're looking for
We're open on background, but the right person will bring:
* Solid experience as a HR generalist across the employee lifecycle
* Confidence working with employment law and ER matters
* Strong written skills, particularly contracts and HR documentation
* The ability to communicate clearly with owners and leaders
* A practical, organised, solutions-focused approach
Experience with SaaS platforms, consulting environments, or multiple-client work is a plus, not essential.
