Personal Care Assistant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team in providing support to clients in their homes and communities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives, promoting independence and dignity.
About the role:
* To assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, domestic assistance and social support
* To provide transport, meal preparation, medication administration and respite care services as required
* To work collaboratively with clients, families and carers to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
* A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (desired)
* Current and valid Driver's Licence, comprehensively insured motor vehicle and smartphone
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
* Proficiency in technology, including smartphones, email and internet
