GEBIE Civil and Construction (GCC) is the commercial subsidiary of Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Island Enterprises Aboriginal Corporation (GEBIE). GCC undertakes Civil and Construction projects across the Groote Archipelago and has a commercial workshop for vehicles, plant and equipment.
Due to increased workload, we have a number of opportunities for experienced Dozer Operators to join the GCC team and work in the community on a wide range of projects.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
* Liaise with the Civil Manager and Civil Supervisor for work tasks.
* At all times carry out assigned work in a timely, professional, and proficient manner.
* Identify and document all risks and hazards relevant to processes and follow appropriate risk management and safety procedures.
Skills and Experience required:
* HC Driver’s License
* Dozer license / ticket
* Other machine operating tickets/licences desirable but not essential
* Applicants must be able to pass a full Job-fit medical, including Drug and Alcohol testing.
This is a FIFO role from either Cairns or Darwin (18 days on / 10 days off roster)
