Job Vacancy | Building Caretaker
Due to operational needs, we are seeking a reliable and responsible Building Caretaker to manage and maintain the building and its surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily inspections and management of common areas within the building
* Maintain basic order and safety of the premises
* Carry out cleaning and upkeep of surrounding outdoor areas, including regular weeding and light gardening
* Assist with minor maintenance issues and coordinate repairs with contractors when required
* Perform routine tasks such as opening/closing access points and checking shared facilities
* Assist residents with reasonable day-to-day requests
Requirements:
* Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
* Willingness and ability to perform outdoor work (e.g. weeding and general grounds maintenance)
* Physically fit and capable of daily inspections and light manual work
* Good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
* Must hold a valid ABN
* Previous experience as a caretaker or in property/building management is highly regarded
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 11:00 am
* Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 am – 7:30 am
Accommodation:
* A 1 bedroom, 1 living area, 1 bathroom unit can be provided
* Rent applies (rental amount and conditions to be discussed)

* Salary negotiable, based on experience and scope of responsibilities
