We are currently seeking a compassionate Senior Personal Care Worker to join our client's team located in Greensborough. In this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team that supports a meaningful person-centered approach that impacts the lives of the elderly and makes a difference in their lives.
With the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills, you will coordinate a team and implement care plans for elderly patients. The hard-working cohesive team will support the wellbeing of the residents and ensure they are living and thriving in an enriched, engaging, and safe environment that meets the needs of each resident. We want to ensure the residents meet their full potential every day and creating opportunities for the elderly with meaningful activities will be part of your role. As an experience worker and leader, you will also mentor those around you and ensure your team is providing top-notch customer service to the residents and their families who visit.
Position Overview
* Coordinate and implement a full range of services and support to the elderly residents
* Create a personalised experience and actively participate in the delivery of activities for each resident that enhances their well-being
* Provide nurturing and compassionate high-quality care and services to elderly residents at the facility using a person-centered approach
* Build positive relationships with team members and ensure they are carrying out the care plans in a timely manner that respects the cultural differences and diversity of each individual
* Mentor the team members that surround you and provide leadership and a working environment where employees feel engaged and excited about their important work
Qualifications
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
* Certificate III in Aged Care minimum
* Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience as a Personal Care Worker or Care Assistant
* Passion for working with and serving the needs of elders
* Possess strong interpersonal and human relationship skills
* Strong leadership and coordination skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Basic computer literacy

Job Type: Casual
Hours: Flexible hours available through a 7 day work week.
Salary: Starting at $23.53/hour
