Role: Y-CEP Coordinator
The Y-CEP Coordinator oversees the coordination of the property's residential community and reports to the Property Manager. The Y-CEP Coordinator focuses on resident wellbeing and implements the Y Suites' Community Experience Programme (Y-CEP), ensuring the programme enhances the overall living experience. This position is vital to the management team, advocating for and prioritising resident wellbeing as a core element of Y Suites' operations.
Resident Experience & Wellbeing
* Lead and deliver the Y-CEP to enhance resident engagement, wellbeing, and overall living experience.
* Respond to resident enquiries, issues, and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
* Support resident arrivals, orientations, departures, and participate in emergency response activities as required.
Programme & Events Management
* Design and deliver a monthly calendar of academic, social, wellbeing, and community-focused activities.
* Manage the Y-CEP budget, event run sheets, approvals, and post-event reporting.
* Promote activities through approved platforms and social media channels.
Residential Advisor (RA) Management
* Coordinate with YSA HR to recruit, onboard, and train the Residential Advisor team.
* Roster and manage the day-to-day performance of Residential Advisors.
* Conduct performance reviews and ensure compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
* Provide after-hours support to RAs when required.
Stakeholder & University Liaison
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with residents, universities, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate with university support services to facilitate holistic resident support.
Marketing & Brand Support
* Support property-level marketing initiatives and resident engagement campaigns.
* Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities and brand awareness initiatives.
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Uphold Workplace Health and Safety standards and Y Suites policies.
* Support the maintenance of a safe, compliant, and inclusive living environment.
Qualifications (Experience and Education):
* Experience in student accommodation, hospitality, events, community engagement, or customer service
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence engaging diverse communities
* Ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver programmes or events
* Comfortable with basic budget tracking and reporting
* Proficient in MS Office and digital platforms (e.g. Canva), including social media
* Flexibility to work shifts between 08:00 and 20:00, including occasional weekends and public holidays.
