What is your role?
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take ownership of structural design and delivery for building services projects, working closely with architects, services engineers, contractors, and clients. You will provide technical leadership, oversee design reviews, and ensure compliance with Australian standards, codes, and client expectations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading structural design and delivery for building services projects, including steel, concrete, and timber structures.
* Reviewing engineering drawings and documentation.
* Mentoring and developing junior engineers within the team.
* Liaising directly with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure constructible and efficient solutions.
* Managing project timelines, budgets, and technical quality.
* Driving innovation and sustainability in structural solutions, aligned with ADP's design philosophy.

About You
* Experience: Minimum 8 years' experience in structural engineering within a consulting environment, ideally focused on building services projects. Experience in steel connections design highly regarded.
* Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Chartered (CPEng/Chartered Engineer) or actively working towards chartership.
* Sign‐off Capability: Eligible to or working towards gaining sign off on structural design documentation, including peer‐reviewed and client‐facing documents.
* Technical Skills: Proven expertise in structural design software (ETABS, Spacegass, Rapt or equivalent), knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC, and experience in design for multi‐material structures.
* Personality & Attributes: Collaborative, solutions‐oriented, highly organised, and confident leading teams while mentoring junior engineers.
