You'll be working on advanced print and production technology in an environment that values speed, safety, and smart problem-solving.This is a role for someone who enjoys getting hands‐on, solving complex issues, and making a visible impact every day.The role You'll be responsible for leading and influencing the Safety and Sustainability agenda for the Vista Manufacturing site at Deer Park. Ensuring to promote safe work outcomes for our team, customers and suppliers by leading and influencing world class health and safety practices are in place.What you'll be doingLead the end-to-end development and management of the Health & Safety strategy and the Sustainability plan for the Vista ANZS Manufacturing site at Deer ParkLead the end-to-end development and management of all policies & procedures relating to occupational health & safety standards as set forth by the Occupational Health & Safety Act 2004.Lead the identification, assessment, and control of psychosocial risks within the workplace to ensure compliance with updated OH&S regulationsManage the deployment of Vista's Health, Safety and Sustainability Policies and Standards to achieve a workplace free from injury, discrimination and harassment.Actively lead and contribute to an organisational culture that supports and fosters safety and wellbeing, ensuring proactive communication and consultation in relation to Health, Safety and Sustainability within the site and globallyLead and support all operational activity on site relating to continuous improvement:Provide expert practical advice, recommendations and solutions on all aspects of Health, Safety & Sustainability management, including legislative compliance and the management of any riskLead regular Health, Safety & Sustainability audits and inspection functions and provide technically robust recommendations and solutionsLead and effectively manage environmental risks and environmental sustainabilityLead Emergency Response management for the siteLead and manage relevant Health, Safety & Sustainability compliance training for team members (First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, CPR, Defibrillator training etc)Provide guidance on Health, Safety & Sustainability aspects of new equipment, products and processes.Proactively develop and deliver training for team members and contractors, including site safety inductions.Develop and maintain all Health, Safety & Sustainability related training recordsOversee the Permit to Work (PTW) system and high-risk work licensing for all third-party contractorsTake a proactive approach to lead and support with the development, review and sign off of all Standard Operating Procedures on siteLead and manage all workers compensation, return to work and rehabilitation, liaising with insurers. Complete internal documentation and determine root causeBe the expert & point of contact for all Health, Safety & Sustainability related matters with internal and external stakeholders to support in matters and to ensure compliance and a best-in-class approachSupport the People & Culture team in implementing the Wellbeing Plan for Vista ANZSBe the expert to advise on Health, Safety & Sustainability legislation, government policy and contractual obligations. Ensure this by maintaining a current professional knowledge of State and Federal legislation and regulations with respect to Health, Safety & Sustainability. Provide guidance to ensure compliance, inform management and develop action plans to address any gaps.
