Our client, a leading Australian law firm is expanding its Employment Law team in Melbourne, and is seeking two lawyers to join the practice:
* Junior Lawyer (2-3 years PAE)
* Associate (3–5 years PAE)
These roles have arisen due to continued growth and offer the opportunity to work closely with an accolladed Partner, as part of a national practice group where the work will see you involved in both advisory and contentious Employment, Industrial Relations and Safety matters, working across a diverse and engaging practice. This includes:
* Advising on employment arrangements, policies and workplace issues
* Assisting with performance management and termination processes
* Supporting enterprise bargaining and industrial strategy
* Working on union engagement matters
* Assisting with or appearing in proceedings before the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court and tribunals
* Workplace health & safety investigations and regulatory matters
About You
* 2–5 years' PAE in Employment / Workplace Relations (private practice or in-house) gained within Australian legal practice
* Strong drafting and communication skills
* Commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
* Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your work

Salary:
$100,000 – $150,000 package (based on experience and years of PAA).
